Keynsham Rugby Club is clearly signposted on the A4175
Bristol Road. Pull into the car park,
wait with your vehicles and you will be met by the balloon team.

Please note that the staff of the Rugby Club do not
have anything to do with the organisation of the
balloon flights, so please don’t bother them.
Also the Club House is not open to members of the public
so there are no toilet facilities on site,
you will need to make arrangements before arriving.

Historically Keynsham was significant as a brass producing town for over 200 years, until the mill closed in the 1920s.

More recently a ‘great flood’ in 1968 caused havoc in the town. Damage to property ran into millions of pounds and a total of 8 people lost their lives, including 3 of the 4 occupants of a car that was washed from the bridge. The surviving occupant of the car was rescued after spending 5 hours up a tree.
