When you spot our balloon in the sky, simply tweet or share the photo with us using #BalloonSpotter and we'll enter you into the grand draw at the end of the season.
Where Are Hot Air Balloons Near Me?
We have over 100 launch locations across the UK, so you're sure to see a Virgin balloon floating over your hometown or across the countryside when you're commuting, on a weekend walk or even at work.
We fly at 6 am and 6 pm - people tend to spot us when commuting to and from work.*
Remember, even if we don't launch directly from your hometown, this doesn't necessarily mean you won't see us - our balloons can travel up to 20 miles on a flight.
Launching from the picturesque town of Henley-on-Thames - depending on which way the wind lets us float, we could fly over to Reading, whereas a flight from St Albans could see us flying towards Watford and North London.
