Wollaton Park is located on the West side of Nottingham City Centre.
Access is well signposted from the City Ring Road via the A609
Ilkeston road and then on to Wollaton Road (on the North
side of the Park). The A609 exit is after the A52 if travelling clockwise
around the Ring Road. As you enter the Pay and Display Car Park
from Wollaton Road, and facing Wollaton Hall, the launch site
is the adjacent to the bottom left corner of the car park.
Please check in with  crew on arrival.

Please note this car park closes at sunset and so passengers
should park on Woolaton Road outside the park entrance
to ensure their car is not locked into the park when returning
from the flight after park closing time.

Hor Air Balloon Over - Wollaton Park

It feels like we have been searching for the right launch site in Nottingham since the days of Robin Hood and his merry men (we only want the best locations you see).

But finally we have landed the perfect spot within Wollaton Park, just to the west of the city centre and, as you rise above the 500 green acres, we’re sure you’ll agree it was well worth the wait.

Look out for Wollaton Hall, a spectacular Tudor building, and the manicured fairways and greens of the neighbouring golf course. Soon the modern cityscape should come into view to the east. Perhaps you can pick out your favourite places, where you work, or maybe even your home?

You should certainly spy the River Trent winding its way along and sports fans will love the chance to view Nottingham Forest FC’s home the City Ground and famous cricket stadium Trent Bridge from the air, if the wind is on your side.

It’s impossible to say exactly what will pass below the basket during you’re hour-long flight above the east midlands, as each one is different, but we’re confident you’ll love every minute of it.
