There must be something in the water in Lanarkshire as the world’s oldest man lived here. He died in 1770 at the ripe old age of 137! We’re sure that a hot air balloon ride over this spectacular area will put a spring in your step too as you drift serenely over the glorious River Tweed and possibly catch a glimpse of the North Sea on the east coast, depending on the will of the wind. If you drift eastwards towards the skyline of Glasgow you might find yourself looking down from your balloon basket at over 100 species of birds resident at the stunning Falls of Clyde Nature Reserve. Like them, you too will have the best seat in the house and have a true bird’s eye view!
