Falkland Golf Club is situated beside Falkland Palace. The Royal Palace of Falkland belongs to Her Majesty the Queen and was the country residence of Stuart kings and queens when they hunted deer and wild boar in the Fife forest.
Fife is a peninsula in eastern Scotland flanked by the Firth of Tay to the north, the North Sea to the east and the Firth of Forth to the south.
The Falkland Golf Club is a 9-hole golf course which was first used as far back as 1502. Set in stunning scenery the area is perfect for a peaceful round and a balloon launch site to inspire and captivate. Look out for the extinct volcanic Lomond Hills pushing up from rolling farmland and the highest point in Fife, West Lomond (522 metres). There are pretty harbours around, industrial docks and busy fishing villages around the coast.
Rising majestically in your hot air balloon you will drift over ancient orchards and immaculate lawns as you head out over the beautiful county of Fife.directionsFalkland Golf Club The Myre Falkland Scotland KY15 7AA Virgin Balloon Flights passengers are able to use the toilets at the golf club courtesy of the owners as well as a round of golf at a discount rate. flight information linePlease call 0844 576 7520 to confirm the status of your flight. |
