Glamis Castle has been a royal residence since 1372, since that time it has been the scene of many a tale! One of the most tragic tales must be that of the 6th Lady of Glamis who in 1537 was burnt at the stake in Edinburgh after accusations from King James V that she was a witch.

More recently, Glamis is famous as being the backdrop for the childhood of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

The stunning castle and surroundings make this a delightfully romantic setting for a hot air balloon flight.
