The second of our two Virgin Hot Air Balloon launch sites lies further inland, to the west of the county town of Ipswich and is ideal for aerial exploration of what is the headquarters of international horseracing.
With both the towns of Newmarket and Stowmarket within easy reach of this site, lying just north of Hadleigh on the A1071, you might easily find yourself gazing down upon prize thoroughbreds being put through their paces at dawn.
Nearby, Ipswich, the county town, is not far from the coast, and the home to our sister site.
With no cities to boast of, the county makes up with a wealth of historical towns and villages such as Lavenham, with its fine timber-framed buildings and Blundeston. Found just to the northwest of Lowestoft, the town is mentioned by Charles Dickens who assigned it as the birthplace of David Copperfield.
Consider for a moment, as you look down upon the rich vibrant landscape, how inspired were the artists Gainsborough and Constable who felt compelled to capture the county's beauty on canvas.
