In response to requests from our customers, we have also introduced a brand new level of ticket - the weekday anytime - which allows a Virgin Balloon Flight morning or evening, during the week. The Adventure Package has also been improved with the addition of a pair of fantastic Bloc sunglasses worth £35. All new customers will now receive a luxury ticket and ticket wallet with a new souvenir brochure.

Nothing will change for people who already have vouchers. However, we wanted to make things clearer for people and to set ourselves apart from old-fashioned voucher businesses. People use tickets all the time for planes, trains and experiences like trips to the theatre, so why should we be different. We think the new tickets are a real improvement and make perfect gifts.
“Everyone who flies with Virgin Balloon Flights is a VIP, regardless of which ticket they buy. They have access to all of our 100+ launch sites and receive the same unforgettable 3 to 4 hour ballooning experience, including an hour in the air, Champagne toast and a certificate signed by Sir Richard. The tickets simply vary on three things: flexibility of when you can fly (you’ll obviously pay a bit more for on-peak evenings or weekends), if you have weather insurance, or if you have an exclusive gift pack.
“We brought in the new ‘weekday anytime’ ticket after listening to our customers. Before, if someone wanted to fly on a weekday evening, they had to pay more for a voucher that also allowed weekends, which perhaps they didn’t really need. This didn’t seem totally fair, so we’ve changed things and we think this ticket will be very popular.”
