To the south east, with the right wind and a very clear day, you might even spot the Blackwater Estuary National Nature Reserve in the far distance.

Hop on board our iconic big red Essex balloon from our beautiful Prested Hall launch site.

A 16th century manor set gorgeous gardens, it is the most picturesque backdrop to begin your ballooning adventure.

Directions

Coming from London and Witham direction on the A12:
Take the Kelvedon exit B1024 and drive through the village, as if you were going to re-join the A12 but before doing so follow the signs directing you over the A12 to Prested Hall.
Go down the long drive and just before you get to the houses at the bottom of the drive, turn right into the launch field car park and wait with your car to be met by the balloon crew at the time stated on the recorded message.

Coming from Ipswich and Colchester direction:
Leave the A12 at the Kelvedon exit B1024 and immediately on your left is Prested Hall. Go down the long drive and follow directions as above.

Please minimise disturbance to the residents when meeting in the early morning.

Unfortunately there are no facilities available in the early morning.
