Balloon Spotter

Be a #BalloonSpotter and win your very own balloon ride vouchers for two worth £418*

For those of you yet to get your feet off the ground, if you spot one of our beautiful big red balloons in the sky, you could be in with the chance of winning a flight of your very own.

Keep your eye on the skies across England, Scotland and Wales and if you spot us flying overhead anytime, snap a photo or video (if it's safe and legal to do so).

How Do I Enter?

  • Post your best photos or video of our iconic red Virgin balloon in the sky (or taking off or landing) on any of our social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TikTok - using our #balloonspotter hashtag
  • Be sure to tag us in your post
  • At the end of our flying season, we'll chose our favourite and the winner gets their very own balloon ride vouchers for two people.
  • This year's winner will be notified and announced in November, 2024.

Take Life Higher

Show others how to #TakeLifeHigher and win an Amazon Gift Card worth £300*

Whether you're the lucky recipient of the gift of flight, or you've purchased your very own hot air balloon adventure, you'll want to shout about how you'll be taking life higher.

How Do I Enter?

There are two ways to enter this competition; post about your experience on social media or complete one of our qualifying surveys.

    Social Media

    • Just received your vouchers and bubbling with excitement? Take a selfie and let everyone know how you're about to take life higher.
    • Just landed and you still feel like you're on cloud-9? Share your experience with others by posting your favourite snap from your flight.
    • Post your photos or videos, follow and tag us on on any of our social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TikTok - using the hashtag #TakeLifeHigher

    Qualifying Surveys

    • You may be invited to complete a survey either after completing your hot air ballooning experience or after purchasing your hot air balloon vouchers.
    • You can complete both surveys and each submission will enter you into our prize draw.

    This year's winner will be notified and announced in December, 2024.

    Float Face

    Show Your Friends and Family Your #FloatFace From Your Experience and Win A Fabulous Gift*

    What could be better than taking flight an unforgettable hot air balloon ride experience? The chance to win a fabulous case of Virgin Wines, that's what.

    Whether its an excited selfie with our pilot, a funky pose with the views behind or your best awestruck expression as the burners blast above you, anything goes if it shows what an amazing time you had.

    How Do I Enter?

    • Simply post the best photos or videos from your balloon ride on any of our social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TikTok - using #floatface
    • Make sure you also tag us in your photos (and anyone else that flew with you, if you want!)
    • At the end of our flying season, our favourite entry will win a fabulous 12-bottle mixed case from our wonderful friends over at Virgin Wines, worth more than £120
    • This year's winner will be notified and announced in December, 2024.
