Eggesford Airfield is a lovely private airfield in north Devon and one of our back-up launch sites for Okehampton.
Your flight may be moved here from our main Okehampton launch site, depending on the weather conditions on the day you have booked.
From the A377 at Eggesford Station, cross the railway crossing signposted for Wembworthy and Wickleigh (left if travelling North and right if travelling South).
Continue straight on this road and after one mile, at Eggesford Fourways junction, turn left and follow this road for half a mile.
Pass Trenchard Farm on your left where the postcode takes you, and the entrance to the airfield is on the right.
As you enter the airfield, park on the immediate left hand side by the South Hanger where the crew will meet you. Please be careful not to drive or park anywhere near the active grass runway or aircraft manoeuvering area.
