Forfar Airfield one of our Scotland back-up launch sites, to which your flight may be moved on the day.
The airstrip sits just outside Forfar itself on the B9113, directly behind Loch Fithie and Murton Farm, Tearoom and Nature Reserve.
From the A90 take the A932 signposted towards Arbroath. Continue through Forfar following the signs for A932 for Arbroath then take the B9113 for Montrose. Continue out of Forfar through Gowanbank and after passing the quarry on your right, take the next right hand turn into Redpath Tyres Forfar.
Turn immediately left through the blue gates and park up, where a member of your balloon crew will be waiting to direct you to the balloon.
