A hot air balloon ride over Scotland from our launch site near Crieff will take you up, up and away over the stunning Perthshire countryside, offering unforgettable views of central Scotland and the Highland Boundary Fault, where the Highlands meet the Lowlands.
Our launch site at Crieff Rugby Club, north of Stirling, is an ideal spot to begin your hot air balloon ride over Scotland. To the north lies Crieff Golf Course and the Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery, the country’s oldest distillery and interactive visitor centre chronicling the story of the well-known Scottish whisky that was recently named Scotland’s Best Visitor Attraction by the ASVA.
To the south lies the winding River Earn and the village of Muthill, while to the east and west awaits miles of beautiful open countryside.
Whichever way the wind takes you, you can be sure of a hot air balloon ride experience that leaves you with incredible memories to last a lifetime.
From the A85 through Crieff, take the A822 south, signposted for Stirling. After approximately half a mile, you will cross the River Earn and as the road bends round to the left, take the turning on the right onto Strowan Road and then turn immediately right again into Crieff Rugby Club. Keep to the left past the holiday home park and continue down the lane towards the club house. You will be able to see the rugby pitches as soon as you drive in and the car park is located at the end, behind the club house.
Your balloon pilot and crew will meet you at the car park, next to the rugby pitches.
Toilets are available on site if the rugby club itself is available at the time of your flight.
