Take a hot air balloon ride from Berrington Hall near Leominster in Herefordshire for glorious sweeping views to the Brecon Beacons in Wales.
From your balloon basket you will see impressive views of Berrington Hall, a neoclassical building designed by Henry Holland in 1778 - 81. This elegant late Georgian house and National Trust property, near the Anglo-Welsh border, is set in a wonderful park landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown; his last landscape design.
2016 is an extra special time to fly from Berrington Hall, with the 300th anniversary of Capability Brown's birth being celebrated at the hall throughout the year.
Wind willing, you could see the roof tops of Leominster, a historic market town with examples of fine architecture throughout the ages.
Further south sits the historic cathedral city of Hereford, the famous home of the SAS, which straddles the winding River Wye and has a magnificent 12th century cathedral at its heart.
You may also fly over the picturesque villages of northwest Herefordshire, which feature many houses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
If the wind carried you north, it is likely that you’ll fly over the medieval town of Ludlow with its castle remains and 500 listed buildings, while to the west there are fantastic views of the Black Mountains and to the east, The Malvern Hills.
