Northampton hot air balloon rides offer a flying experience you will never forget.
From our launch site just north of the town at Hanging Houghton, enjoy beautiful countryside in all directions as you go up, up and away in our big red balloon.
A southerly wind takes you towards Northampton itself, where you could spot The Racecourse – home to the annual Northampton Town Festival.
Hunsbury Hill lies towards the south west of the town, while on a clear day with the right wind you may enjoy views of the Althorp Estate.
Our Northampton pilot Pete Philpott and his crew look forward to taking you up, up and away.
You might spot a steam train puffing along the tracks of the Northampton and Lamport Railway.
Our big red balloon often causes a lot of excitement when it drifts overhead, especially when it is coming in to land.
Regional vouchers for Northampton hot air balloon rides can also be used at more than a dozen locations across the East Midlands, including nearby Market Harborough and Lutterworth.
From the A14 junction 2, or junction 15 of the M1, Hanging Houghton is on the A508 between Lamport and Brixworth.
Turn onto Manor Road and drive through the village, then turn left down the hill, continuing on Manor Road. DO NOT go into Manor Farm or Manor Walk please – they are private property.
Manor Road continues downhill for a quarter of a mile, over the Midshires Way and a small bridge, with the meeting point 100 metres after the bridge on the right. Please park considerately on the gravel area by the farm buildings, where your crew will be setting up the balloon nearby.
