One of our back-up sites for Alton, Fernhurst and Guildford, your flight may be moved here on the day.

A flight from Petersfield North offers stunning views of the beautiful South Downs National Park. The location for this launch site is Petersfield Golf Course.

A north easterly wind could take you towards to tree-lined hills around Durford Wood and Hill Brow, while to the west lie the Hampshire Downs. Views on a southerly flight could bring in views of Butser Hill and Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

Petersfield itself is a pretty market down, with a good range of shops and eateries and is well worth a visit before or after your balloon ride.

Directions

Please note that the entrance to the course can be found only on the Southbound carriageway of the A3.

Northbound on the A3, take the exit towards Liss and B3006, after 0.3 mile turn right towards the Hillier Garden Centre, merge back onto the A3 for a short distance then turn left into Tankerdale Lane. The Golf Club is on the right.

Southbound on the A3, continue past the Liss turn-off and turn left into Tankerdale Lane. The Golf Course is on the right.

Park at the extreme right-hand (when facing the course) end of the car park, in the overflow area.
