One of our back-up launch sites, your flight may be moved to Wakefield on the day.
It is perfectly located to enjoy west Yorkshire from the skies as it is situated between Doncaster, Leeds and Huddersfield.
Enjoy a stunning hot air balloon ride and of course the celebratory toast after landing!

Directions:
From the A1:
Exit at junction 38 and take the A638 North towards Wakefield. Continue on this road for approximately 8 miles and at Offley Lane Roundabout, take the first exit left on the B6428 signposted for Royston.
Follow this road for 2.5 miles and as you enter a 20mph zone, take the next right onto Mulberry Avenue signposted for the Sports Centre. Continue straight at the mini roundabout and then bear right into the Centre.
Go past the Community Centre on your right and park in the parking spaces on your right.
From Wakefield:
Follow the A638 towards Doncaster for approximately 6 miles and when you get to Offley Lane Roundabout, turn right onto the B6428 and follow the instructions as above.
Your pilot and crew will meet you in the car park of the Rycroft Leisure centre car park. Please approach them and let them know you are there for the flight as the centre may be busy at times.
Toilets available on site in evenings only if the centre is still open.
