Nestled in rolling countryside, Winwick Hall is home to the Bruce Green Foundation, which has supported children's charities through outdoor cinema events for more than 20 years. The estate is also known for its huge topiary elephants, the Polo Pavilion Tea Room and one of the largest sundials in Europe.
Winwick Hall is a beautiful back-up launch site used when conditions are better suited here for flights linked to Market Harborough, Rugby or Northampton.
Winwick is a very small village, so head for the Polo Pavilion Tea Room on Google Maps. The launch site is in the large grass field along from there, alongside Elkington Bridle Road.
Please park on the grass area indicated and meet the crew by the basket, where the balloon will be set up.
