Experience the stunning North Wales landscape from the skies on one of our unforgettable Wrexham hot air balloon rides from Erddig.
Our beautiful big red balloon launches from this stunning National Trust property just a couple of miles south of Wrexham itself.
If the wind takes you west, you will likely find yourself floating over the meandering rivers in the lower Dee Valley with the Welsh hills in the not too far distance.
Or to the East lies Bangor-On Dee, with the beautiful Cheshire plains beyond.
Magnificent countryside views await in every direction, whichever way the wind takes you on board our Wrexham hot air balloon rides.
Our Wrexham pilot Dom Bareford and his crew look forward to taking you up, up and away on a magical North Wales balloon ride soon.
Why not make the most of your flight day and take in some of the other sights and sounds in and around Wrexham?
Erddig itself is well worth a visit before or after your flight. The house itself houses an almost unique collection of portrait paintings and photographs celebrating the estate’s servants over 250 years.
A walk around the beautifully restored 18th century garden and surrounding pleasure grounds offer the perfect way to enjoy up close the stunning landscapes seen from above. Then why not reward your efforts with a tasty treat in the Hayloft restaurant or one of the seasonal tea spots. The homemade bara brith and scones are a must-try.
For those looking for something a little less sedate, Wrexham also has plenty of action-packed activities, such as battling it out with others at Marchbrook Paintball.
Fly from any of our wonderful Wales balloon ride launch sites for a unique experience with memories to last a lifetime.
Our range of regional Wales hot air balloon ride vouchers can be used for any of our locations in North or South Wales.
From A483, exit at junction 3 and take the A5152 Wrexham Road, signposted Rhostyllen and with the brown tourist signs for Erddig. Continue on this road for one mile then turn right onto Hafod Road, again following the tourist signs for Erddig. After another mile, the entrance to Erddig is on your left. Follow the drive all the way up and park in the Orchard Car Park. Your balloon crew will meet you in the overflow car par to the south of the main house, which is where our balloon will launch from.
