Millie and Archie Hunter’s fabulous local business has been based right here in Shropshire since it was launched 14 years ago.
Like every other cake from their farmhouse bakery in South Shropshire, our new Mini Celebration Fruit Cake is mixed, baked, and decorated by hand.
A Tasty Treat
Shaun Howells, one of our customer service supervisors, said the new cakes are already proving to be a hit with customers.

“The whole team had the chance to sample some of the cakes beforehand, with a unanimous verdict of ‘absolutely delicious’.”
Locally Produced
Based less than 27 miles from our Virgin Balloon Flights HQ, our partnership with The Simply Delicious Cake Company also means reduced food miles.
The new cakes also have significantly less packaging than our previous birthday cakes and wherever possible are made with locally sourced ingredients.
This includes free range eggs from a farm just half a mile from the bakery.
And their cakes are so delicious that the likes of Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason and Harrods have stocked them.
