Three lucky Virgin Balloon Flights team members got up at the crack of dawn yesterday morning to go on a hot air balloon flight from Shrewsbury.
Lynda, our lovely call centre operative and Ben, our operations extraordinaire (and ballooning veteran) joined me, Pilot Lindsay and 13 other passengers for a 6.30 am launch from Battlefields in Shrewsbury.

After the flight, we treated ourselves to some bacon butties at Sparrows 1403 cafe at the Battlefields farm shop. It’s a post-flight must-do!
