The experience of flying in a hot balloon is magical wherever you fly from but have you considered Surrey or Hampshire? Both offer spectacular views to help make it a flight to remember.
Surrey - Guildford & Fernhurst:
Take a hot air balloon ride in Surrey and marvel at the picturesque landscapes of one of England’s smallest and most beautiful counties from on high.
Launching from our Guildford site will offer stunning views over rolling landscapes of woodland and pretty countryside villages. Look out for Guildford Cathedral, the Guildhall, and even the ruins of William the Conqueror's castle.
Further south from Guildford is our Fernhurst launch site. This pretty village on the Weald really captures the charm of southeast England. It dates back to the Stone Age and is home to St Margaret’s Church, which dates back to c.1100.
Depending on the wind, you may head north towards Haslemere, and on a clear day, the urban sprawl of London in the far distance will act as a nice contrast to the rural idyll that will sweep away before you. The south coast and sea beyond may well come into view if your balloon flies high enough.
Hampshire - Alton & Dogmersfield:
An unforgettable flight in our Hampshire hot air balloon provides the perfect opportunity to see one of England’s prettiest counties from the air.
Launching from our Anstey Park launch site in Alton, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the New Forest National Park across to Portsmouth, Southampton, and the Isle of Wight. Look out also for the county town of Winchester with its magnificent gothic cathedral as you soar skywards.
Alternatively, why not choose to fly from our Dogmersfield launch site of the fabulous Four Seasons Hotel which itself sits in glorious Dogmersfield Park? As you rise serenely skywards on your balloon ride, enjoy the spectacular views of this 18th-century estate and its accompanying stables and gardens.
Once airborne, you may spot Winchester Cathedral and the many quaint thatched cottages of the surrounding villages.
Whichever direction the wind decides to carry you, when you enjoy a flight in our Hampshire or Surrey hot air balloons you can be sure that you have the best vantage point of all and will be taking home memories to last a lifetime.
