Coventry Hot Air Balloon Ride

Fun & Interesting Facts

Singer Chuck Berry recorded his number one hit single, a cover of the 1950s novelty song ‘My Ding-A-Ling’, at a dance hall in Coventry in 1972. Its cheeky innuendo was too much for some at the time, including morality campaigner Mary Whitehouse, who tried to get the song banned.

About

Take to the skies for a stunning Coventry hot air balloon ride and fly up, up and away over some of Warwickshire’s most spectacular scenery.

Our closest hot air balloon to Birmingham, your flight from the glorious parkland of Coombe Abbey Country Park is an experience not to be missed.

Find the world at your feet when you go up, up and away wherever the wind takes you in our iconic red Virgin balloon.

If the wind takes you south, keep an eye out for Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden, best known as the home of the great love of Queen Elizabeth I, Robert Dudley.

To the east lies the beautiful Draycote Water reservoir and nature reserve, with the city of Coventry itself a dramatic modern sight should you fly overhead.

No other airborne experience comes close to the flight of a lifetime in our Coventry hot air balloon.
