Sitting on the eastern edge of the beautiful Peak District, this site is one of our back up launch sites for Sheffield balloon rides, with glorious views of both town and countryside and views of the imposing Wentworth Woodhouse.

Directions

From the M1, exit at junction 35 and take the A629 Upper Wortley Road signposted for Rotherham. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 miles, and then turn left onto Admirals Crescent. After 100 meters, you will see the column on your left.

Please park on the small grass area in front of the column. If the ground is wet, please park along the road, making sure not to block access. The pilot and crew will meet you by the metal gate in front of the column.
