Launceston Hot Air Balloon Ride

Fun & Interesting Facts

For several years, Launceston hosted an annual ‘Castle Rock’ music festival in July. The first event, held in 2000, saw a young, unknown artist take to the stage by the name of Jamie Cullum.

About

Join us for a spectacular Cornwall hot air balloon ride experience of a lifetime.

Take to the skies in our majestic big red balloon from Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall.

Spectacular sights such as the dramatic Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor await as you go up, up and away for an unforgettable airborne adventure.

On a clear day with the right wind, you might even spot the Atlantic coast in the far distance.

Often considered the ‘gateway to Cornwall’, Launceston is a town of beautiful buildings built mostly on a hillside.

This beautiful landscape is scattered with ancient Cornish towns and villages, nestled around the wilds of some of England’s most dramatic moorland.

Take life higher with a stunning Cornwall hot air balloon ride with Virgin Balloon Flights - the UK's No.1 passenger balloon operator.
