The pretty village of Middleton-By-Youlgreave is a beautiful spot to begin your Peak District hot air balloon ride adventure.
Keep an eye out for the River Bradford skirting the edge of the village as you go up, up and away before drifting serenely onward wherever the wind takes you over some of the most picturesque countryside in the UK.
There are public toilets available in the village itself and while there is no shop, cafe or pub, these can be found a couple of miles down the road in the neighbouring village of Youlgreave itself.
The surrounding fields often contain livestock so if friends and family come to wave you off, please ensure any dogs brought along remain on the lead.
