Some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery awaits when you hop on board our iconic big red balloon from Buxton.

Go up, up and away from the very heart of the beautiful Peak District for a flying experience like no other.

To the north lies the glorious Hope Valley and Kinder Scout peak, with the majestic Teggs Nose Country Park to the east and the beautiful Three Shires Head to the south-west.

Buxton is of course famous for its bottled Buxton Water, with its popularity as a spa town from the 1780s. The spring waters are still piped direction to St Ann’s Well, near the town centre.

Whichever way the wind takes you, a Peak District hot air balloon ride is an experience you will never forget.

Directions

Travel south out of Buxton on the A515 and after one mile, take a right turn on to the B5053 for Longnor.
After two miles you will come into Glutton Bridge, where you need to take the next right turn by the phone box.
Travel approximately a third of a mile, crossing a cattle grid and park on the right hand side of the road.
Join us at the balloon launch site itself on the opposite side of the road.

There may be livestock in fields so please ensure you KEEP GATES CLOSED and all dogs are kept on leads.
