Uppertown is one of our beautiful back-up launch sites for south Derbyshire, to which your flight may be moved from main launch sites such as Tibshelf.

From the A6:
Exit onto B5057 signposted Chesterfield and Two Dales, then follow this road for approximately four miles. Turn right onto Cullumbell Lane and follow this for one mile.
From the A61:
Exit onto B6014 signposted for Tansley and follow the road onto B6036. Continue on this road for approximately 3.5 miles to the end of the road, then turn right onto the A632 towards Chesterfield. After one mile, turn left onto Alicehead Road and after another mile turn left at the crossroads onto Cullembell Lane.
Follow the road until you see Upperton Social Centre on your left.
The entrance to our launch field is immediately after the centre, also on your left and where you will be met by your pilot and crew.
If the weather and ground is dry, please park in the launch field itself. If the weather is very wet, please park along the roadside adjacent to the field.
