East Sussex Hot Air Balloon Ride (Wadhurst)

Fun & Interesting Facts

Wadhurst was probably named after an Anglo-Saxon tribe called the Wada, who first cleared the forests and settled there 1,500 years ago.

About

An unforgettable experience awaits when you go up, up and away on our spectacular East Sussex hot air balloon ride.

Launching from the pretty market town of Wadhurst, enjoy stunning views in every direction as you drift almost silently across beautiful countryside.

On a clear day, enjoy views as far as Bewl Water and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the east.

Or the wind might you north towards the historic and beautiful Royal Tunbridge Wells, or west over miles of unspoilt countryside.

To the far south lies the small town of Battle, which was the site of the historic Battle Of Hastings in 1066. On a very clear day with the right wind, see if you can spot it from the air.

The adventure of a lifetime awaits when you take to the skies for an East Sussex hot air balloon ride with Virgin Balloon Flights.
