Join us for a hot air balloon ride in Worcestershire and enjoy fantastic views across the skyline of this beautiful and historic region.
Start your adventure at the picturesque, tree-lined Worcester Racecourse, while the River Severn winds away from you in both directions.
The imposing twelfth century cathedral will likely be visible from the north and is home to the tomb of King John. Also look out for the black and white Tudor houses on New Street and Friar Street as you drift over on one of our balloon flights in Worcestershire.
Flying high over Worcestershire, you’ll notice three main parks – Cripplegate Park by Worcester Country Cricket Ground, Gheluvelt Park and Fort Royal Park, where battles took place during the English Civil War.
To the west and south of the city, near Powick, is the site of the Battle of Worcester. It was here in 1651 that Charles II was defeated in his effort to regain the throne before fleeing to France.
As you leave the city, you can enjoy the beautiful patchwork landscape of this rural county that is peppered with farms, villages and country estates.
Find out more about the venue at the Worcester Racecourse website.
