Up, Up-Cycled And Away is our campaign to re-purpose the fabric from our retired balloon envelopes into something new.
Whether you're an individual, a business or community organisation, we'd like to hear what YOU would transform some of the lightweight, tear-resistant nylon our balloons are made from into.
We re-use as many of our old envelopes as we can once they reach their maximum flying hours, mainly as 'dust sheets' to store our large balloon baskets for the winter.
But we know there are so many other wonderful and inspiring ways the fabric can be used and would love to see it transformed into something new, whether it's the beautiful bags made by our friends at refugee charity TERN's ANQA Collective or Wiltshire-based New Baginnings.
