Virgin Balloon Flights’ very own Shaun Howells was nominated Virgin Star of the Year 2013 last month.
To celebrate, he was invited, along with thirty-four other Virgin Stars, to an awards night at Sir Richard Branson’s family home in Oxfordshire.
Recognised for his supreme customer service and jolly work ethic, Shaun (pictured second right) was delighted to be nominated for the accolade.
Not only did he get to meet Sir Richard Branson, Shaun was also treated to a Moulin Rouge themed dinner party and an evening of top-class entertainment.
Shaun said: “Meeting Sir Richard was a real thrill, and I certainly didn’t expect to be dining with him and his family.”
Virgin Stars are nominated for their outstanding contribution to the Virgin group and their individual brand.
It’s safe to say that Shaun had a fabulous night.
“The evening itself was fantastic - lights, cameras, glitz and glamour! The night was hosted by Sir Richard himself and his family and it was apparent the effort they had made was tremendous. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which added to an evening where we were spoilt rotten and treated like proper VIPs.”
