Liskeard
Our Liskeard launch site is a fantastic spot from which to explore the beauty and history of what is arguably the jewel of the West Country. Liskeard is a thriving market town surrounded by rolling Cornish countryside. If you are fortunate to pass low and slow over the town on your hot air balloon ride it is possible to see buildings of all styles and ages radiating out from the town's central square.
Southwest of Liskeard lies the picturesque coastal town of Fowey, where author Daphne du Maurier, drawn to the natural beauty of the region, once lived and wrote while in a more southerly direction is found a wealth of typically quaint fishing villages such as Polperro and Looe.
Our Liskeard balloon flights launch from the stunning estate of Pentillie Castle, providing the perfect base for those wishing to traverse the wide Cornish skies.

Launceston
Enjoy a flight in our Launceston hot air balloon and experience the ancient capital of Cornwall and spectacular sights such as Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and even the Atlantic coast from a whole new perspective.
It is the only walled town in Cornwall so keep an eye out for the 11th century castle and the distinctive Southgate arch. Many of the town’s examples of historic architecture will come into view as you float skywards. You may spot the 16th century Church of St Mary Magdalene, which has one of the most lavishly carved exteriors of any church in England.
Launceston Priory lies to the north of the town, alongside the winding River Kensey that can still be crossed by the ancient Clapper Bridge.
From ancient Cornish towns and villages to the wilds of Dartmoor, a hot air balloon ride over Launceston offers the best views you can get of this beautiful county.

Our Launceston and Liskeard hot air balloons are piloted by our wonderful Cornwall pilot, Steve Vining. Steve has been flying, in one capacity or another, for almost 30 years and has flown in many places such as Portugal, the Czech Republic and Austria to name a few.
