Our big red balloon is a familiar sight across the Yorkshire skies, and with 6 launch sites to choose from, your ballooning adventure won't be far away.
We fly from the historic city of York and the delightful town of Harrogate in north Yorkshire.
Further south, we launch from Leeds Temple Newsam, Doncaster's Cusworth Hall, and also Rotherham and Sheffield, where the glorious hills and vales of South and West Yorkshire await.
Spectacular Yorkshire Balloon Flights
You can admire the landscape by taking a balloon ride from York Racecourse and drifting over historic landmarks such as York Minster, the Medieval Shambles, and York Castle.
See if you can spot the city’s famous walls as you fly up, up, and away wherever the wind takes you.
Or fly from Ripley Castle near Harrogate, admiring its beautiful lakes and gardens before your balloon ride takes you out over the beautiful countryside.
Keep an eye out for sights such as Fountains Abbey, Knaresborough Castle, and Ripon Cathedral, as the winding River Nidd cuts through the landscape.
We are the only company to also operate hot air balloon rides in West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire.
From City Skylines To Rolling Fields
See the Leeds city skyline as you gently rise from our Temple Newsam Country Park launch site, before the wind takes you out over beautiful green countryside.
An easterly wind could even bring in views as far as the North Sea coast and River Humber on a clear day.
Our South Yorkshire balloon rides launch from Cusworth Hall near Doncaster.
The right wind direction would take you out over Doncaster itself. Keep an eye out for local landmarks such as Doncaster Racecourse with Town Moor Golf Course nestled right in the centre of the track.
We also added 2 new launch sites in 2019 for South Yorkshire, Sheffield, and Rotherham.
Our Sheffield launch site is situated 5 miles east of the glorious Peak District National Park and sits just south of "The Steel City".
Lying between Sheffield and Doncaster is our Rotherham launch site.
