Globally July 18th is known as Mandela Day; a celebration of Nelson Mandela’s lifelong commitment to pursue the greater good. Today Nelson Mandela will see in his 95th birthday and Virgin boss Sir Richard will share in celebrations turning 63. Richard among many others will pledge time to make an impact; influencing and encouraging others to be part of a global movement.

Giving just 67 minutes, one minute for every year of Madiba’s fight for human rights, Richard will today be mentoring a group of young entrepreneurs. We here at Virgin Balloon Flights have been raising funds for the Nelson Mandela Foundation by keeping cool in the summer sun serving up ‘Virgin’ (non-alcoholic) cocktails in the office with staff pledging their time making sure there’s always a top up at the ready.
