Beautiful Wadhurst has a wealth of interest on its doorstep.
Close to historic spa town Tunbridge Wells – named after nearby town Tonbridge – there’s no shortage of natural beauty.
Perhaps you’ll drift over the famous battlefield where William the Conquerer saw off King Harold the Saxon, or maybe you’ll snatch a glance at Leeds Castle (Kent), once described as the ‘loveliest castle in all the world’.
There are also the well manicured towns and villages of Rye, Lewes and Tenterden providing excellent sightseeing and shopping, before or after your hot air balloon ride.
Legend has it that Chalybeate Spring, due to the water’s high iron content, has medicinal qualities.
It truly is one of Kent’s most captivating areas.
