Hot air ballooning over Hampshire provides the perfect opportunity to see one of England’s prettiest counties from the air.
Launching from Anstey Park in Alton you will rise serenely into the skies above to look down upon breathtaking views of the New Forest National Park, across to Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight.
Turning beneath your balloon basket below you will see delightful towns and villages below such as Chawton, once home to Jane Austen, and the splendorous county town of Winchester with its Gothic cathedral and mysterious sculpture Sound II. Today a busy market town Winchester is the perfect destination for a post balloon ride wander to refuel on fabulous local produce from the Farmers’ Market.
Whichever direction the wind decides to carry your balloon on the day of your flight over Hampshire you can be sure that you have the best vantage point of all and will be taking home unforgettable memories of a lifetime – and that’s before the Champagne toast has even been poured!
