Our customer service staff here at Virgin Balloon Flights have added another string to their skills bow after all successfully completing their Level 2 National Vocational Qualification.

The qualification, taken with Telford College of Arts and Technology (TCAT), has allowed our team members to improve on four main areas of customer service including image, delivery, handling problems and development and improvement.

The course, combined with our in-house training which includes experiencing a balloon flight, will ensure the team can provide an even better service for customers.

Customer service representative Camilla Kendrick said: “It was great to be given this opportunity as we have been able to learn more about our job role, whilst achieving a qualification. It was tough at times, but we all agree that it was worth it in the end.”

Lynsay Symcox, Head of customer service, added: “The qualification is something the team will have for the rest of their lives and acts as a great training refresher as well as increasing staff morale. The team have worked extremely hard over the past few months to each pass the Level 2 NVQ and will start work on Level 3 in October.”

Well done to the team and good luck for level three!
